After a long struggle with a WordPress blog, I’ve often run into problems of error that often occurs in my WordPress blogs, including blogs Online Business is good is because the replacement theme, who tinkers theme and install plugins just because it then conflicts with plugins that eventually all the errors.
Well … here are 4 components that need to be diagnosed WordPress first to detect where is the error that occurred? This is important if one day your blog is experiencing errors such as:
When the blog is accessible to only appear blank pages / blank white
“Headers already sent”
“Fatal plugin”
“Out of memory”
And many other errors that may have experienced on your WordPress blog.
To overcome the errors that occur on the WP blog, there are four important components that need to be checked in sequence starting from:
- Plugins
- Theme
- Script WordPress
- Server Hosting
But before you start to check and try to correct errors that occur, you should do a backup first either by downloading the WP files and the database manually from your server or it could be practical to use the plugin WP-DB Backup. This is important because once you make a mistake and the blog was a mess, you can still restore the blog in a state as before. So …. Make sure the backups … yes … do not be lazy:)
Ok … if backups are done, please refer to how to solve the error on WP blogs by checking the four components of the blogs I usually do when an error in the order of:
Checking Component Plugin
Why the plugin first? because any error that occurs on my WP blog normally after I did the experiment either install a new plugin that is free or premium. This usually occurs because of inter-plugin from one to another conflict that is coding a plugin script that is not compatible with other plugins that have been installed first.
How to Overcome:
1. Deactive all your plugins.
2. If the error still occurs, then proceed to the next component of the theme, if the error is lost please continue on the following points.
3. Activate the plugin one by one and try to check / access your blog.
4. In plugins diaktikan and an error then go to the following points. if not, repeat the above points.
5. Uninstall plugin causes errors.
6. Enable other plugins to make sure there are no errors on other plugins.
If in case the plugin error occurs and you have absolutely no access to either access the blog index, and the admin page then use FTP software to access the server hosting your blog directory into the folder “wp-content” and change the name or rename the folder “plugins” to turn off all your WordPress plugins. It’s up to you want to change the name to what as an example you can change the name of “plugins” to “plugins_error”.
When this is done, then the script will not recognize the WordPress plugin directory so that all plugins will not run so the blog can be accessed normally. The best step after this is to delete all plugins and rename the folder to “plugins, go to admin and install the plugins one by one. Make sure there are no errors anymore.
Checking Components Theme
If the cause of the error is not on the plugin, then the theme could be the second suspect to investigate. Error in WordPress themes themselves are often occurs after us who tinkers theme PHP code or it could be because themenya been broken but I never experienced this even though it’s a free theme.
Enable default wordpress theme such as the Twenty Ten theme to replace the error. If the error is lost means that the problem exists on the theme. if not, proceed to the next component. When using the standard WP theme, try to check again your plugins to make sure there are no errors caused by the plugin as I described the steps above. If no problem is a theme that you used before that caused the error.
The solution is try changing the theme or if you still want to use the previous theme, clean code that you just who tinkers just before the error or upload the same theme but is still clean from the touch of your hand.:)
As always, if you blog is not accessible at all, do the rename the theme folder on your WordPress directory as I described the steps above.
WordPress Script Component Core
Cases of errors caused by the WordPress script is actually rare but can happen because of one PHP file corrupt due to a particular plugin installed or it could also occur because of human error when trying to tweak this WordPress PHP files.
If the two components is not caused by the two components of the above, then the following steps that should be checked. Actually very easy to overcome errors in the core of WordPress is to reinstall WordPress files are still clean and fresh. Following steps:
“Headers already sent”
“Fatal plugin”
“Out of memory”

Download directly from the WordPress script http://wordpress.org/download
Open the FTP software
Rename the folder wp-admin and wp-includes because of this fact we will replace with a fresh file. Why are not really deleted it? as usual …. just in case if only fitting upload fresh files error turned out worse, so if that happens, we can still delete files uploaded a new fresh and restore the old files to rename the corresponding folder name back.
Wp-config backup.
This is important because these files are the core of the process of working with your database WordPress. Upload file a fresh WordPress. First test after the upload, if the error still occurs or not? If it does not mean there is a problem in the WordPress core script file. If the problem persists, when asked for assistance to the experts who understand PHP and WordPress programming.
Checking Server Component
Based on my experience during use shared hosting is no problem, but when using theVPS server, there are several settings that are still not optimally set to run WordPress as the memory limit that causes the error “out of memory” or mbstring extension problem to run the plugin Relevanssi not installed. For the VPS server, obviously you need to do it yourself via the root server by using Kloxo, WinSCP, PuTTY, or if your VPS managed, then living settings via WHM Panel.
For this component I can not explain it because it will be very long if it is discussed, perhaps in the next article only after all the problems in hosting this actually rarely happens and if it happens, you can ask for support where you hire a hosting service that became part of them should.
Well …. If your blog has experienced an error as I described above? if yes, how do you handle errors in your WordPress blog?
